Carl Carbone

03/03/2020 - _N9A1465.jpg

Every March I love to look for migrating Tundra Swans. I know, I lead an exciting life.
Today I happened to hear some “honking” while I was out picking up after the dogs.
I saw a string of about 100 birds heading my way. By the time I got in and got my camera
and went back out, they were slightly past to the south. I managed a few shots
and was happy to see they were Snow Geese. Upon examining the shots (which I badly over-exposed)
I was delighted to see a “lifer” blue-phase Snow Goose in the mix!
