Hiked part of the Grandfather Mountain Profile Trail today to the Foscoe Overlook,
~4.5 miles round trip and 1200' in elevation gain.
Some parts were relatively tame, like in this shot, and others ascended and descended sharply.
To top it off a bit of rain made the trail slick
and despite my warning others, it was I who took a spill. Nothing major, just a brush burn
on my left forearm. My camera remained safe, though would have definitely benefited from a higher ISO! :-)
