This poor Red-eyed Vireo was eating frozen bugs in our tulip trees this morning.
I was hoping it was getting enough fuel to continue its very late migration south.
The forecast overnight and tomorrow is for 3"-8" of snow.
I took the shot through double-paned glass, dodging the bird anti-collision stickers,
so it's not for prize, but for documentation! :-)

Poor guy! Sometimes birds 'forget' to migrate for whatever reason. I hope he has now started moving south. Super shot in that foliage. V

The IQ has suffered a bit from the glass, but the composition and colours are still aces. Lovely image.
