A lovely scene on our evening dog walk, but ...

We came home and decided to turn on the air conditioning. A strange smell started to fill the house.
I recalled smelling it yesterday, just for an instant as I passed the furnace in the basement, but attributed it to the litter boxes.
Yes, our cats know how to stink sometimes! As it turns out, it wasn't the cats, but a chipmunk that had entered via the furnace exhaust
(probably while being chased by Kodi) and then proceeding to die in the furnace exhaust fan! The rest of my evening
was spent with a screwdriver and a lot of bleach.
