Red-winged Blackbird

The red-wings have been back for several days now—a couple of weeks earlier than just ten years ago.
I'm sure the warming climate has something to do with it, as all migratory birds seem to arrive earlier these days.

They came through here on a fast track North. They usually stay here for a couple weeks or more. This time, I swear it was 5 days. I love them - but so noisy. V
