On Monday, we found a monarch caterpillar on some milkweed
near the end of our driveway and decided to help it
make it to adulthood by protecting it in a butterfly enclosure.

Today, it climbed to the top and transformed into this
beautiful chrysalis. It should become an adult monarch butterfly
within two weeks. Stay tuned!
