Isn't it amazing that they can construct such a large, beautiful,strong nest using only their mouth parts? It is awesome, in the true sense of that word. They are beautiful wasps and I've never had any problems with them. V
We had these in the flowering crab apple tree in the front yard this past spring. they are great insect architects and made a beautiful nest, but, I had to evict them.
