Missed it by that much!

Well, at least I got to see the rare (for these parts) and certainly out-of-season
White-eyed Vireo at Tifft Farms Nature Preserve, today.

When we arrived the bird hadn't been seen for a bit,
but then I spotted it and we tracked it. It moved quickly
around this berry tree and because it was relatively
dark and cloudy, my AF wasn't fast enough.
