Orb Weaver Spider

My wife spotted this beast yesterday evening. In low light,
and an attempt to get it to move so we could see it better,
I took a stick and held it up to the mass on the tree.
The spider leapt onto the end of the stick! Well, we high-tailed it
out of there. I went back this afternoon and the spider
had climbed back up the tree. I need a better shot now—
well, maybe later when it's light out!
