Papa Bluebird

The day after the babies were killed by the house sparrow,
the male and female bluebirds were all over the house singing
as if they were mourning the loss of their brood.
I removed the nest after I discovered the sparrow had been there.

Today they are back, possibly building a new nest. Perseverance.
