This cute little Tufted Titmouse braved the extreme cold today—
high of -6º F with wind chills approaching -35º F— and enjoyed
the bird seed with the American Tree Sparrows, Black-capped Chickadees,
Red-breasted Nuthatches, Slate-colored Juncos, Blue Jays, Mourning Doves,
House Finches, and our first of the year Common Redpoll.

This is a lovely shot but it does look cold there.

A nice image! You're in the deep center of the cold. This has been a weird winter, around here November was colder than December and January was warmer than February.

Fantastic shot!!! These guys are rare up this way, unfortunately. Sounds like your feeders are doing a great job helping this and the other birds survive these frigid temperatures. V

He's looking somewhat windswept but I'm sure he appreciated the food.
