I think this is a Yellow Bear caterpillar - Spilosoma virginica.

The weather got lousy soon after I got home, so little time for photos today.
I wanted to tire the dogs before the thunder too, or at worst I was uninspired!

Yes, I'd probably go with fuzzy wuzzy! Good spotting and capturing - I'm sure I'd walk past it and never notice it was there.
