Now and Then and Then

The wetland area on our property has blossomed out. The diversity
of plants and wildlife is amazing. It's OK to have a little lawn,
but even the smallest yards can have some native plants.
Reduce your lawn area and replace with nature!

Love it! I agree. There was some minimal landscaping on our property when we bought it; the rest is natural. I just don't believe in a lawn in the middle of the desert!
And I love the native plants. More interesting, IMO, than well manicured landscaping.

Beautiful, Carl! I agree entirely with that concept. We have 6 acres but only about a 20 foot perimeter of the house is lawn, easy to maintain and not much of an environmental impact.
