Booby Search

No Jim, not that kind! A Brown Booby was spotted near the Peace Bridge and Lake Erie yesterday.
Brown Boobies are pelagic birds normally found in tropical waters of Central America.
This was a first for Western New York.
Here we see a flock of birdwatchers observing it on a breakwall from the tower at the Erie Basin Marina.
