Long-eared Owl

A great day out birding with my wife and daughter turned up not one, but three Long-eared Owls!
They were a first for all of us and amazingly beautiful. Photos were tough due to the dense
vegetation. We also saw a Saw Whet Owl, and continued on to see several different ducks, including
Gadwall, Northern Shoveler, Ruddy Duck, Green and Blue-winged Teal, Bufflehead, Mallard, Wood Duck,
and Horned Grebe. Throw in a juvenile Bald Eagle, Great Blue Heron, and Great Egret to make it a great day.
