Unfortunate Demise

The wasp nest had become increasingly unstable as the branch it was on had split and was thrashing
around in gusty winds. I watched it afterwards for a couple of days and saw no activity. Assuming
they abandoned the nest, I cut down. Evidently, a skunk found it and had a midnight snack!
