Agree...funnily enough, I was on the RSPB website this evening and was really shocked by how many of the UK's indigenous birds are 'red listed' ie. they're in serious danger of dying out. Criminal.

Absolutely! I agree wholly. It is so sad that these beautiful birds are in trouble. Here in Ontario they are a species at risk. There was a time when I used to see these on a fairly regular basis, but now they are known from only a couple of locations. V
