What a surprise! My daughter and I were walking along some large rocks near Lake Erie
and I heard a squeak. I stopped and looked down to my right. Not wanting to scare it, I pointed
from my hip and took two shots with center-only focus. This was the first shot. In the second

It was confirmed by a NYS DEC biologist to be a mink kit.
