Calatagan, Batangas

Went to Calatagan, Batangas for an afternoon trip only to shoot some photos of the Punta de Santiago Lighthouse. The beach area in the photos were taken at the public beach right below the lighthouse.
The exact town is Bagong Silang. Looking forward to going back there to shoot some more photos. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them :-)

I'm from Lucsuhin, there's a lot of improvement as far as housing are concerned. I am very happy that with the help of Gov. Vilma Santos part of the road heading to Lucsuhin is paved. It would be nice to see the road project finish. Its true that our area is very far from Manila, but if we kept our roads paved and safe for our tourist to see the area the long drive would not matter.

maganda talaga sa calatagan higit sa lhat aktibo ang mga kabataan dito sa pakikiisa at pagtataguyod ng aming estado para makilahok sa mga pampulitikang usapan at mga usapin o bagay na alm namin na malaki ang maitutulong sa aming lahat..

Hi Im Derrick Manas. I'm from Lucsuhin.Thanks for visiting or town. Calatagan is really rustic and that's the beauty of it. just to let you guys know. We started an effort to retrieve and restore the lighthouse by establishing a Heritage Foundation. We will also build a museum.we are now fixing all the legal documents. ang ganda ganda talaga ng calatagan, kaya lamang poh ay napakalayo nito mula sa Maynila, napakatagal din poh ng byahe nah inaabot ng 4 nah oras, nais q lamang po nahmabigyan ng mas mabilis nah transportasyon, para nah rin sa mga magaaral na nasa maynila.

napakagandang bayan ng calatagan, napakababait pah ng mga tao, nais ko poh lamang ihingi ng tulong ang brgy. lucsuhin nah maipaayos ang kanilang kalsada at ng maging maayos ang kanilang transportasyon. Inaasahan q po ang inyong mabilis nah aksyon mahal nah punong bayan, Dra. Sophia Palacio.
