My husband and I went on a one week road trip going to different places in Region 1. On this gallery, you will see photos that were taken at the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse and at the Bangui Wind Farm, both found in Ilocos Norte.

i want to go back to see my own Bangui town.Now i have to bring my mom who is 81 years old. She heard about the windmill but better to see herself. What an amazing attractions. We are so proud of the accomplishments. Kumusta kayo amin dita ,Apo!!!!!!

thanks for all the nice comments coming from people of different cultures.i'm also from bangui wbere the windmills were erected and still to be erected. at last, our town Bangui was placed in the limelight. hope to see more tourists coming to our place.More power and MABUHAY BANGUI.!!!!

the VISAYAS STATE UNIVERSITY student taking up bshrtm major in tourism visited the ilocos region....from north to south of region 1....we enjoy the the windmills and vigan!!!!whew!!!!

weve been there recently last feb 26, cape bojeodor is a very beatifull scenery, must seen place although going up there was so hard but when you rich the lighthouse it was so breath taking scenery, the air was so fresh you can freely breath-in.. we think we go back there by the month of MAY..

maybe it would take many years again before i can go back to cape bojeador lighthouse when it will be restored..........my leg muscles are still aching going up the highest stairs of the lighthouse........but mind u, at my age, I MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my brother Alex had lived and studied there for two years, well, that's 15 years ago, looking at this pictures brings back memories when we were there. Although my father is from Bangui, we were not able to visit more often. I miss my friends there, also my cousins and especially Lola Carmen.

I'm happy to read beautiful impressions and remarks about bangui and i was so elated that at last the panoramic view of the place had caught the eyes of many people and has become one of the tourist destination in the far north. i rose from the place and where the windmills stands i used to walk in there barefooted and having a fun time swimming with the crystal water . . . salamat & mabuhay!!

I visited my own town Bangui 2 years ago after how many years since I left. I am so proud with their accomplishments especially the WINDMILLS. We even went to the lighthouse in Burgos then in Pagudpud. What a changed!!! Kumusta kayo amin dita Danao.

I am a native of Bobon and had the pleasure of visiting the lighthouse as often as possible during my early years, counting the steps as we race to the top, enjoy the breeze and the beauty all around. I am glad to hear about the restorative foundation.

I was on a tour with some friends just last week. We climb the lighthouse but it suddenly rained and the wind was so strong. It was so cold. I wish the Department of Tourism could promote the sites and put up souvenir shops, to help maintain the place.

I never thought of going to the philippines my entire life until my grandfather had passed away. I then told my self that I was going no matter what, to show respect and to say my last goodbys. After 38 years, I finally got to see, where my parents had grown up in Ilocos Norte and finally met me relatives. Looking at this pictures makes me want to go back again. Remembering how beautiful philippines is and the next time I go I will be taking alot of pictures and can't wait to go back, hopefully it won't be 38 more years. Hahahahaha. Love seeing philippines pictures make me feel proud being a filipino.

our group had a road trip from ilocos norte to ilocos sur just last summer. and we also went to these same places. ang ganda-ganda talaga ng mga tourists spots sa ilocos including the lighthouse and the windmills.. i hope to come back and spend more time there.

Great pics you have here. Did a road trip and went to these beautiful places with my kids a few days ago. My kids were awed with the beauty of Ilocos Sur, Norte, Cagayan and Isabella. Keep on shooting and sharing the beautiful sights our country has to offer :)

Thanks for publishing cape bojeador lighthouse in your website, this could help promoting our place, im the prime mover of the restoration of this lighthouse. We organized the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse Development Foundation. The restoration of the roof have completed. We are still looking funds for the riprapping of the base.
