Great capture Trav... "a sign of the times" almost every second person has a 'wishful' attempt at capturing! Just shows the 'level of understanding' in the general community?.... 'zilch'???.... oooowhhh I've got flash on mine... that'l get it???

No wonder 'they' sell millions of cameras every year... most of them get thrown away because they will not do the impossible?

I had noticed the slow shutter speed, Trav. I'm impressed that it was hand held. You're very steady!

I should note that this was essentially hand held at one Second...this also is what makes this interesting. Now it is true that I braced my left hand against a tree and pressed the shutter with my right hand....but still, with the 870 IS, this is a one second hand held shot.

Thanks for the comments.

This is great Traveller - a good low key shot, good composition, and a great story telling image! Love all those LCDs lit up like candles in the crowd! :-D CJ

Makes me glad my camera doesn't have live view. You've caught a social phenomenon here, Trav.

... and only one tripod! Yours?

This picture is hysterical. How many of these "photographers" were using their flash as well.

I love it. Great capture, Trav
