This is a very nice image, (you can tell it's a Vikas, even if different from the norm). I think it's almost a high key image. To make it high key, I'd adjust the lighting to be flatter, with the modeling light more centered instead of to the side. That may tend to erase the Vikas signature styling to some degree.

Overall, this picture has a very charcoal look to it, except for stroke marks.

Ahhh, to be young again and gently draw my finger down his.... abs, oh sorry!! This is great! I wish it had a tad less Lucis though.

Pops :-)Yeah would love a 6 pack like this guys, more like an 8 pack though. He does have incredible abs. Works out twice a day I believe. :-)

Thanks a lot Bob for pointing out the smudges, my mistake, I hadn't caliberated the monitor in a while and it was off. Have corrected it now, please let me know how it looks. Thanks once again.

Nico, as always, much appreciated.

Thanks ISO, yup smudges on the left of the model, removed them now, my bad. :-( Abs, he does have incredible abs actually, completely well defined and though I worked on them a little bit, it really was a little bit as they were great to begin with. Do you still think they are too much (tried toning them down some). Please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks RK, appreciate it. Regarding sharpening, only applied 80, 0.6 in smart sharpen in PS. Seems ok on my monitor but then again, my monitor sucks. Please let me know if I need to tone it down. Thanks.

Thanks Cat, appreciate it. Regarding his abs, see comment above (refer ISO)

Thanks a lot CJ, did try and make it more, well, high key. Does it work now? Thanks.

Everyone, thanks a ton, its comments like this that really help. Much appreciated.

Cheers, Vikas.

High-key background and a very handsome guy, but maybe not a high-key image, at least as I understand it! Very pro looking though! :-) CJ

Very well done! Agree with ISO, 6pk stand out making them look unnatural.

Wonderful lighting Vikas. Agree with ISO about the six-pack.. looks a tad bit over-sharpened. -RK

Pro image and setup - a few smudgy marks to remove from the right hand side, hip height by the frame. Definition shadows on six-pack look slightly overworked though?

Lit masterfully, Vikas! Regards Nico

Gosh!... I thought I was looking into a mirror there for a moment? ;-)

But then.... I blinked and could immediately relate more to Pop's comment about 'kegs n stuff' lol

This is a fantastic portrait Vikas but it really has me thinking?

It is not a "hot white image" because there is some detail in the background (albeit faint!) and it has more than just a little of the dark tones for 'high key'

... so I'll just be content to say ... WOW what a great image and leave it at that?

I look at this and think, "Nice six pack. Mine is more like a keg!" LOL
