Thanks Melbob! That's exactly what I was trying to achieve. I was worried that I may have cropped a little too much, but I wanted to get rid of some distracting elements ... make this feel less like the museum exhibit that it was and perhaps give the feel of some remote train station waiting for passengers to embark.
Another great composition Bernie. I like the way you used 'leading lines' here to add interest to the story that this image presents. Not just the steam loco (which to me is interesting enough..) but the luggage cart and the sense of expansiveness with the adjacent train etc.
