I don't know if I'm right, but I think this has many, many layers.... layers of people, layers of taxi cabs, layers of buildings, layers of colors and signs...
I see what you mean about the lines though. Oh well, I'm glad you like it anyway...

A wonderful vibrant and dynamic shot Penny. I love the left/right symmetry between the NY cars and the NY people. But I don't really get layers from it, if anything, it is the exact opposite of layers because the foreground transitions wonderfully into the background with no obvious separation. Good addition to your collection, Penny. This one specifically since it has kind of two halves to it, and then also lots of interest at various distances from the camera. And the person in red is a good anchoring point for the composition. Well done. Regards Nico
