Enemy #1 for this shot wasn't the 8-mile trail or the harsh light, but it was the wind. The strong wind made all the poppy flowers curl up, and kicked up a lot of dust in the far horizon. Not much PP for this shot, and the strong wind prevented me from setting up my tripod to do something really unique. On a god day when all the flowers open up, the colorw will be totally unbelievable. Bright orange colors will cover all the hills and valleys. Thanks for all the comments. -dylan

Beautiful! The type of pic that makes me wonder: either you had to walk countless miles into the middle of nowhere to find this scene, or... or there is a big highway out of view just to the rear of the camera position? :-) Good work with the wide-angle! Compliments and regards Nico
