Thank you, Bob! Penny, it was really, really hard. Especially, when it came to the one that clamped her needle-sharp teeth around my thumb and wouldn't let go, she very nearly came home with me of necessity! ~Sharon

and you actually left without taking one home?

Terrific capture Sharon, love the comments below as well.

Interesting 'psyc' info' worth remembering.

Too cute Sharon! How lucky you were to be able to get those adorable shots of those cuddly puppies! :-) CJ

Thank you, Lydia! It was chaos, the crate shot had to be taken the second their handlers stepped back because that one on the right was out of the crate in two seconds every time! Great IQ test, Kiki! That makes sense with what their owners said, that the runt of the litter was the one to most often stick her foot in the food dish. She is very assertive and is doing very well because of it. ~Sharon

ADORABLE, Sharon! I like the crate shot very much, too. I'm sure that was chaos. ~Lydia

The "basket" picture is a wonderful catch! Are you sure he's not the one to the right, trying to escape? That's a lot of sisters.. j/k

A digression: An IQ test for dogs is to give them a letter sized paper with some butter or other goodies smeared in the middle. If the dog place a paw on it to hold it steady while licking, it is considered to be smarter than one who keeps pushing it around with the tongue. Not sure about those who eat the whole paper though.. probably extra hungry. Adjust paper size to dog-size so it doesn't walk all over it.

The bowl here looks heavy enough to stay put regardless, so the picture only indicates someone young with a nose for food. (I know it's far to young for "manners" yet.)

I am afraid these pups have no idea what manners are, yet! I love the reflection of one of the other puppies on the left, the other reflections are my "helpers" standing behind me. Here is the only shot, out of nearly 700, that I got of all six of their faces together. The only male is the one right in the center, I think. ~Sharon

Aha.. with manners like that I didn't want to assume "she" lol
Intriguing reflections..

Thanks, Kiki! She belongs, for the moment, to a friend of a friend. She is one of six yellow labs, all girls except for one. They were six weeks old last week when I begged a photo session. It was chaos but we all had fun. I think they were all going to their new homes as of yesterday. They are certainly a bunch of sweet, round bellied pups! ~Sharon

He looks rather milky himself with a foot in the bowl :)
Nice shot.. whose pup is it?
