I think I prefer this unprocessed version. One thing that bugs me in both versions is the left edge of the frame. I don't mind the darkening towards the edge, but when it is allowed to get lighter again towards the very edge I find it distracting. To overcome, I would darken the few brighter pixels on the very edge.
