Great atmosphere and interesting composition. I join with Bob in admiration for your handholding skills using 1/13 at 135mm!

Melbob, I could have used a tripod. However, I didn't. I very rarely use one. Brent, I'm glad you like the tone. It's really just desaturated. Those are the actual colors of the scene, but muted. For those who still want to guess what the scene is, don't read further. What follows is a spoiler. This is simply a picture of an open grand piano, as seen from my seat in the audience. The inside of the lid is black and polished to a degree that effectively makes it a mirror. The parallel lines at upper left are the wood paneling behind the piano. The sheet music is laid on top of the piano where the pianist can see it (just behind where it would normally be propped up). -- Victor

Very nice composition Victor. I really like the color tone here- gives it a very classic feel. Great work!

You have a steady hand Victor... 1/13s? Good job and very creative result... got me scratching my head!

You obviously did not turn into a pumpkin at the stroke of 12 cos you shot the other pic?
