Oh wow...that eye is just wonderful now. You know, I think one of the things that works really well in this image is the pale blue background, which is a nice complement to the horse's color and gives almost a heavenly tone to the top part.

Thank you all. I'm pleased as punch. :) I worked on the eye and told him you think he's pretty. :)
Yes, tv, that's his hair... the stuff that comes from between his ears up top and hangs over his eyes. He has great hair. *grin* ~ Lydia

Yes.. that's a pretty horse - and well cared for, by the clean looks :)

Is that the horse's hair? Another finely framed composition. Terrific. -tv

Lydia, I think it looks better now. However, I agree with CJ that the eye could benefit from some sharpening. Someone here told me once to go for 200-300 on the eye, and I've found that usually works. Come to think of it, maybe it was CJ who told me that.

Lovely picture of Mr. Ed. Did you try sharpening his eye though as the hair on his forehead seems sharper than his eye to me. Love the crop and tones in this! CJ

Very Nice! Good Job.

Mr??? He's so feminine looking - love the blonde locks. :) ~ Lonnit

Ok, I darkened the area around the eye. He does look more handsome. Perhaps I can help God out in the real world, too... ahhh... nah... nevermind. *grin* ~Lydia

LOL, Brent. He's a boy. A pretty boy. :) Thank you.
Mary Anne, thanks. His eyes are brown and his 'eye liner' is really this charcoal color. I agree that he'd be prettier with darker 'eye liner', so I'll work it. ~Lydia

Very nice but not knowing much about horses this look more like a Ms Ed to me with those golden locks :-) Mary Anne might be on to something with the contrast idea- but it looks great Lydia.

What an interesting crop, Lydia. Really looks like a furry person's face. One suggestion: I'd play around with the brightness or contrast in order to get some true black in or around the eye.
