Carol, I have to admit I was struck by the first crop I saw. The eye is still very appealing, but... Still a very striking image. I just preferred more of the downy detail. -tv

Thanks Mary Ann and Ann! I liked how he kept a close eye on me as I inched closer and closer to get a shot of him with his bill under his wing. A few others in the area got up and with much honking and hissing, moved far away! LOL! And Lonnit - here's goosie sans shadow by eye! :-) CJ

Thanks Sharon and Lonnit. Do you mean the dirty feathers toward the left edge or lighten the whole shaded part in the lower left Lonnit? I should have tried to wash that goose before taking his picture! :-) CJ
