Thanks Sharon and Shergar. I talked with my friend Jim Clark about this and he thinks, as I do that the little bit of tyre and pavement act as a contrast to the pure form of the car. It's just a bit of reality infringining on the unreal. I do appreciate your suggestion.
Colin, this is very nice. I love the color and the sweeping shapes. You could make this shot even more dramatic by cropping out the right hand side, the road & tire, to focus our attention on the color and shapes. It would make more of a square format but I don't think that would hurt it a bit. Good work! ~Sharon
