Another wonderfully creative composition. The red spot/shadow isn't doing it for me but I see it's purpose (I'm seeing it as representing a shadow on the retina, sort of). Regard -Najinsky

You have a lovely eye, Melanie. I mean that in both ways. :) A very intriguing setup, indeed. I wish it were larger so I could examine it more... but I understand the constraints have limited you. ~Lydia

How many drugs do you have to do to get this creative? LOL! Boy, do you have an active imagination. :) ~ Lonnit

Thank you Trav and Kelly. Yep, that's a real eye (it also shows up in a transparent version in my 'If' image). I took my Fuji with the macro lens on it and put it in front of my face and tried many times to get a decent shot of my eye (guessing at distance, position, and focus). The light was not really cooperating, and it was cold--but finally I had some sun for a few minutes and lucked out on a couple marginal shots. There was a bit of glare in the upper left, so I had to cover that up with a reverse of a portion of the right side. This image was not at all what I planned (not that I really had a definite plan)--it kept changing direction until this is what I ended up with. Kind of goofy, but I thought I'd post it anyways. --mlynn

Is that a real eye Melanie? How did you shoot it so perfectly. Nice Photoshop work. This almost puts me in the mind for a Bond movie with the red disk and silhouette. - Kelly

Son of a Gun! That's awfully nice, mlynn....really....sigh. Wish it were mine, wish I could have even thought of it. Traveller
