The Wall - dt

We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

"cold in the eye"...I've never heard that expression before. LOL...through the tears...regarding the bricks. That's a $5000 brick job...sob! It's a long story...sob...involving contractors, permits...sob...I can't go on...sob. ;^) d.tallakson

Dt... this worries me! Each time I see this I look carefully to check that the eyes have not suffered... you see ( no pun intended..) when I was a young child my mother would get annoyed with me if I peeked through keyholes etc. She would say.. " don't do that or you will get a 'cold in the eye'???

This sounded serious but I never quite understood what it meant.

So... I check to see if these eyes suffer from that 'affliction'? I don't think they have?

Having dispensed with the formalities can I now say, I like this, it obviously fits the title and because the bricks are a little 'crooked' just like when I attempt to lay bricks ;-)

Nice idea d. and nicely burned edges. - FWIW - It would have been nice to have a better sense of the wall's thickness if the idea was to be on the other side of the wall. Also, the scale of the figure might be reduced so that it is closer to the scale of the bricks'. - Kelly

Looks like this will be a popular theme...*smile* I had mine (entered next) also named The Wall (have now changed it). I wonder if we'll all be out scouting for bricks. *grin* Your image is very cool, dtallakson. Good job matching the shadows. ~Lydia
