The Mechanics of Modern Day Leisure

Please note the focal length in the EXIF...I was on a third story roof to shoot this, and you can't tell at all! Still, it is all there...the ipod, the cell phone, the coffee, mag and a comfortable pose.

Canon EOS 350D
1/200s f/5.6 at 172.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Yee Gods, Aussiedog, you're right...if it weren't Christmas Eve, I'd clone it out...but to work! Best Wishes for a happy Holidays to Everyone. Traveller

Nice one Traveller. The red is certainly a strong element in this one. The newnest is rather striking also. But, the french fry or what ever on the ground between the legs is driving me crazy. Now that I've noticed it, my eys go right to it every time. --AussieDawg

Love all the reds! You could not have improved on that if you posed the shot and set up the props! :-) :-) OK, perhaps the cellphone could then also have had a red cover... but that would have been a give-away that was not shot candidly. :-)

You know, now that everyone has mentioned it...everything is so brand spanking new that...well, it is odd, and I regret a little my refusal to sit with him and have a cup of joe.

I was busy. Hummmmm?

Santa's got a brand new sled?

Funny you should say that.

I could be flip and respond: Who is?!?

But in truth, I think not...it was an odd awkward conversation with him...he was kind of lost, not with his toys, but with his life.

But then Who isn't?.....lol

Best Wishes, Traveller

Very RED... very Italian Trav.... Ducati helmut, MV Agusta (Agustini) leathers.... does he actually ride a bike? Actually the F4 MV Agusta is one of my favourite bikes... very pretty and very capable bike.

Well... he certainly has his share of modern machines... (obviously not short of a $) .... but is he happy? ;-)
