When Tools were Art

A long tome ago when all nuts were square, life was simple and if you had this single handy artsy wrench it your buggy tool box, you would be covered for 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 7/8" loose nuts. What a deal!
Photo taken with a black of night background and a manually fired and diffused flash.

Lovely capture of a great design. So I wonder why the switch to hexagonal nuts. A) Make people buy new spanners, B) Easier to use in confined space, or C) both the above! --Najinsky

Great, Jim. Love the capture of this magnificent old work of art. They really maximised the functionality of this spanner.

Love the textures and stark contrast-reminds me of some ancient indian art.
