well, i went and took more pics of the tractor and gave it the HDR treatment. I will post as another entry and maybe i'll delete this one.

Tony, I emailed you an edit... then did another one... and then following Kelly's request below also posted small versions in Pending. As I said in my email, the edits are simply "different" not necessarily "better". You are owner, artist, creator of this marvellous photograph and how YOU wish to present it is what counts! :-) I loved playing with it though. You can of course also feel free to delete the ones in Pending if you prefer. Kind regards Nico

I'd like to see it too Nico - why not post it in Pending? - Kelly

Tony, this beautiful image is 944K. The maxiumum allowed is 150K (due to the fact that our space here is donated and we don't want to abuse their generosity). You're allowed to resize it and put it back with the "Upload and Image to replace this image" after clicking "edit image". Feel free to delete this comment afterwards. ~Lydia

Tony, I took the liberty of doing some more editing on your pic, and would like to email that version to you for the sake of interest. Perhaps you could mail be at jnconradie [at] hotmail.com or via PBase? Thanks and regards Nico

Wonderfully done. Love it. I would simply love to set up my tripod there, take a whole series of bracketed exposures and blend these... I think you will be able to "pull" much more drama from the subject, the sky, etc. What a find! Regards Nico

This is a terrific image. I love the plants growing up through the tractor. It's obviously been there for sometime. I like the rust patina and the low angle, too. dtallakson

I really like this one too Tony. But it makes me wonder if farmer's ever do any maintenance or do they just drive their tractors until they eventually die in a field somewhere?

I like this, Tony. The sky... works with the whole mood here. I like how low you shot it from. Well done. (You'll have to resize it, though. Soon the police will come and tell you it's way oversized. *smile* It has to be 150K or less.) ~Lydia
