Nicely seen Jules and welcome to the challenge. One question, how do you know they're kissing farewell and not "yes, I really am glad to see you!" LOL - Kelly

Nice image Jules, I like the detail/brickwork as well as the key subjects.

That combo of 20D and WA lens works very well. I must say I did not really notice the copper in the corner until Traveller pointed it out. I guess it could be cloned out but on the other hand it does provide a dramatic sense of perspective and scale to the composition?

As a suggestion, the police officer and other person in the lower left corner maybe could be clonned out...otherwise, a strikingly fine image!....that belongs in Exhibition...lol

Best Wishes, Traveller

Aha! I sit corrected on the size. *smile* I see now that it's only recommended. Thanks. ~Lydia

From the exif data, I think this fits in exhibition...
and I agree with Pops.

was this taken during the challenge period? Should it be in exhibition?

Actually there is no rule on image dimension although 800 pixels on the longest side is recommended.

However, there is a 150K file size rule and this is currently about 3.7MB. Again that is not a serious problem, just resize it and replace it. There are instructions in the pending gallery.

Love the picture.

I'm glad to see you made it here, Jules! Your photo is perfectly on topic. It'll have to be resized, though. Maxiumu in the rules is 800 per side. Also, you'll need to put your name in the "Artist" blank (Use "Edit Image" upper right). Good entry! ~Lydia
