Thanks for your answer/comments, Kelly. Yes, the title was intentional. There are many people who are really 'blue', especially at this time of year. I was going to name it "Holiday Blues" but didn't want to get too morbid.
They are over-the-counter Aleve (blue is their true color), bought for my middle son's basketball arm injury. I noticed how beautiful they are... and here you have it. I agree that it's more low than wide. *sigh*
I like the shot better turned upside down actually (for interest's sake), but that would be High and Not So Wide then. *smile*
I altered the color of some of my other shots... Orange, pink, and a green one. I had some fun. *grin* You can see them here if you're interested: http://imageevent.com/lydia2/lowandwideandcolorful Critiques encouraged. ~Lydia
Both images are very nice Lydia. Compositionally I like this one better than the other you've tucked away in Pending, although I've no issue with blown highlights. Also this shot is closer to the challenge of looking up from a low vantage point, though both shots have me wondering what the focal length was in each shot. However, all that tasty artsy stuff aside, the one thing that is evident about both is how the goblet of pills plus the title bridges to suicide by overdose - was that intended? - Kelly
I've put an alternate one in Pending. I like the alternate better, actually. But, I'm a bit of a Blown Highlights/Artsy kinda girl, and most folks aren't. *smile* ~Lydia
