Thanks, Y. Actually, my dear friend's son is learning to fly. He recently did his first solo. He wants to be a commercial pilot - mom won't let him near the air force! I gave him a framed print. I figured if *I* fell in love with this bird at first sight, with his passion for flying, he'd go nuts for it. ~ Lonnit

Striking Pose indeed :) ... The background blue contrasts very nicely with the white of the Aircraft. Very nicely done.
Also, I think this would make a worthy poster for X29 fans.
Thanks, Kelly. And yes, I messed up on the galleries - all fixed now. :)
Charlie - can't take credit for the blue ceiling, that was the museum's idea!, but I did bring out it's detail in post. As for the composition, that was about the only danged way to fit the darn thing into the frame! LOL! It's hard to work that rule of thirds when you've got little room to maneuver, but I did what I could. As for the future, this bird, believe it or not, is old hat - out of production. As I stood under it, mesmerized, all I could say was, "I WANT ONE!!!". LOL! This image is very special for me b/c I have longed to be able to get to this point. I've looked at images in PDN and Communication Arts and ached to be able to shoot/process like this. With this image I had finally arrived at a major milestone marker for myself. I've got a long way to go, but this felt great, letting me know I'm on track. It's the style I was after - that graphical, surreal, silky feel, like a very high-tech, fine-artish-comic book look. ~ Lonnit
