I missed that somehow. I was thinking of doing my fingers, but I wanted a bigger challenge. I think yours turned out better by the way. -- Victor

By the way, I encourage you to try shooting a flash into the palm of your hand just to feel the heat. At full power, it can actually be painful. Amazing, isn't it, that you can feel light this way? -- Victor

I've changed the title to what I originally was going to use. Better? I'm not sure why I changed my mind. As to light source, I used two flashes. A Vivitar flash is mounted on my Canon 5D, and a Sigma flash is pointing up from a stack of CD cases that's just the right height to achieve good focus of the hairs. The Sigma flash was set to slave mode. The trick was to block like from the Vivitar from illuminating my hand yet allow it to trigger the other flash. I did this using a black panel that I held in place with the same hand I triggered the shutter with. In order to do that, I put the camera in timer mode (by the way, how do you change the timer delay? I looked through the CF options and didn't see anything). -- Victor

Victor, what was the light source? - Kelly

I like this! For the title, how about "Backside." Let 'em guess! *wink* ~Lydia

needs a more evocative title.

Neat shot and well done.
