I love this. You've managed to maintain all off the detail of her face against such strong backlight; the kick on her cheek, and cornea, it's a hard image to turn away from. I'm glad you didn't touch up the skin. The digital age and ease of the processing have allowed artists to more and more convincingly sell the image of idealized beauty. It's refreshing to see a beautiful picture of a beautiful person who still maintains her humanity.

The background is a very large tarp with a studio flash behind it. May make a few adjustments tonight.
Very dramatic! Again, good use of the negative space to make it more interesting. How did you light her? (As a suggestion: I would have temped to do some skin editing to reduce some of the impact of the harsh lighting... but it is mere comment, and you might justifiably feel this was exactly how you intended it to be...)
