CJ there is good strong contrast here and I like the textures and feel of this.
There is a little issue that I find a little distracting. The 'fawn' coloured reeds section centre LHS seems to be blurred and has lost its texture. Not sure what is happening there.
I took the liberty of playing with that area to bring back some texture. Hope you don't mind. I used the healing brush and posted the image in pending here:http://www.pbase.com/update_image/88122819 You might already be familiar with this process if so apologies and please just erase the pending image and tell me to pull my head in.
