I think this is an excellent portrait. Well composed and very atmospheric, real and what I like most is that doesn't look 'contrived'
Good contrast with crisp detail and nice soft roll-off so that one captures the subject without chasing around the frame.
Perfect DOF, Alexis. I like this. I'm sure Bob will be by with his handy tool to tell us the histogram, but in any case, it's an attractive photo that, I'm sure, anyone would be thrilled to claim to have taken. And a handsome man. ~Lydia
