Thanks Kiki! I'm glad you didn't want to see more as I didn't crop much. Often things don't look the same in the view finder as they do on screen so I was happy with the way the flowers progressed from slightly OOF to very OOF and the stages of decay showed up. :-) CJ

I like this one. Strong graphics, nice palette, genuinely OOF. I kept wondering about the crop here, whether I'd like to see more - or less. And finally concluded I like the crop as it is :D

Thanks Cat, I liked the colors in this too. This is the last of the Black Eyed Susans in my garden and with the forecast for tonight, it's the end for them all, but it's nice to know they'll be back next year! :-) CJ
