Great spots! I love those wooden carved creatures, most of the time these come from Bali. Thanks for sharing your fun image. Markjay

Hey--you copycat you :). I was originally thinking of doing 'see Spot', then 'see Spot run', or something like that. But my Spot got taken down by a third party; and well, he couldn't run very fast. --Melanie

Thanks for looking so closely, Bob, and thanks for your comments. Being just a beginner at PS effects, I appreciate any help I can get from the PP Master, himself ":^). I gave the shadow on the blades of grass some more attention to give a bit more realistic 3D effect. In my previous comments I said this guy was 2" tall, but my bad, he's a whole head taller than that at 3" ":^) Cheers, and thanks again for your thoughtful commenting. -mikey

Thanks for the explanation Mikey... saved me the trouble of googling to see what sort of strange looking llama it was!

I'm impressed with your shadow.... but... hahaaaa!... I can be critical...

See the blade of grass starting at bottom frame and going into the shadow?... well that blade would not be long enough to be in the shadow so it should be lightened... OK... so please fix it or I'll take off some points for 'not quite clever enough to fool me' ... lol

and... while we are being critical... there is another blade far right just in the shadow....

I have to admit that it is very good and fun as well.. Great post Mikey

LOL, yes its the latter (not a lawn). This grass was cut in June when it was about 3' high and has grown back to about 1-1/2'. The "creature" is an Arrazola Coyote (Mexican hand-carved, hand-painted) knickknack of about 2". Knowing that, obviously this is a composite of two pix. Having fun now!? Thanks for commenting, Nico. Lots of spots... lots of fun!! What a weird creature. :-) Regards jnconradie PS. Does your lawn need mowing or is that simply how the natural grasslands look like in your part of the world? :-) I presume the latter!
