Dappled Light

I saw this soft dappled light on the wall opposite a piece of stained glass in St Mary in Castro Church, Dover Castle, Dover, UK.

Great David, I agree with Trav... looks better now.
Little things like that can really bug you when you keep coming back to an image... we (myself included) get a bit picky but all in the cause of 'moving forward' and developing our skills.

There are many different takes on a composition, for instance I would be inclined to crop the bottom pictures out (just above the mark on the wall) and only leave the arch/spots and single picture. It simplifies the shot for me (... and I am the worst offender for making shots too complex... lol). It then makes the subject (spots) more important and one focuses on it rather than the pictures and gives a nice balance as well.

Just a different take on your theme... please feel free to ignore/take with a grain of salt or whatever?

Either way, nice post and good take on the theme David.

Thanks for the feedback :)

I've adjusted the image and the picture frame is now straight(er)!

Very nice, all three entries actually. However, we do need your name, or at least a name, on each of them.

Part of the joys of the Challenges is...fixing images, making them better. The vertical on the large picture frame really bothers me because it is off to the left....I sense that a little rotation to the right to straighten up these interior lines would help this image a lot.

Best Wishes, Traveller
