Terrific comp' shu.. I like its simplicity and how it begs one to fill in the story. The title works well with this image. ~ Regards Melbob

Thanks Trav-- I've finally decided the top of the door is intrigal to the image's appeal. I also like the slant which mimicks the door's shadow on the wall. I appreciate your critiques and hope you will not hesitate to do so on any of my images if you have time. There is a lot to learn and I am most eager! shu

Shu, I could have been wrong in my recommendation...this is good of course, certainly better as a thumbnail, but I also had in mind you doing a little perspective or skew control and leaving the top part of the door in place rather than a crop. Could you post a link or the original?

Sorry but this is an important direction to maybe take in your photography, (I wish I had the time!)

this is what I thought of when I saw your initial image.

Dear Shu, this image has intrigued me and I've come back to it several times. It seems like a Hopper to me in its simplicity yet depth...one problem, maybe, can you straighten out the door line at top left? Should it be straightened? Best Wishes, Traveller
