Don't you hate it when you want to have a good meal around 11PM and restaurants are cleaning the floor and setting the chairs on tables. If you think LA is bad, try Grand Rapids, MI! Trav, I am sure the photo is special to you and; at least for me, it resonated. Best Wishes. Sam Attal

In my area of Los Angeles, (The burbs), most restaurants close at around 9pm week days, sometimes later on the weekends. Due to the vagaries of my work, I'm often at it until 10pm, then I decompress for an hour....and so run to Hollywood where things tend to be open later.

Since I have a European Disposition for late dinners...all of this irritates me a little. But what the heck, we all find work-arounds in life. This is a fairly nice, 24 hr place that serves food in an outdoor area 24/7...Yes, a flash was used in both images but the exif says...no, damned if I know.

I just kind of liked the inviting colors and it was a window into my world...with a fence, nothing special. I would expect this to be over in Exhibition before this Challenge is over.

Best Wishes, Traveller

The exif is showing that flash wasn't used here but I'm assuming that's wrong. This seems to be continuing your theme of emphasising the border/boundary with bright sharp light (which is why I think flash was used) and I think I recognise the flowerpots and umbrellas from your other shot. What is this place? -Najinsky
