Perhaps pushing the envelope here as to whether or not it fits the intended parameters... so will remove it if need be. The fly is on a piece of trash near my rubbish bin though...lol!

Thanks Bob, I was not able to achieve such deatils with the EF100 alone (I had the lens for a couple months only) and I wanted to learn more. Best wishes. Sam Attal.

Thanks Sam, I used a 21mm extension tube with the 100mm. I actually used a tripod for once to try and get a sharp capture. Usually I try to do it hand held with 'ordinary' results. It was rubbing its legs so had to keep shutter speed up. ~ Regards Bob

Good one Victor, I watched this little grubby beast rubbing its legs together as they do... yuk! I apologise for failing to show these little grots in their true light... lol...but ... as long as you have adopted that title Lee ... then 'this one is for you!'
