This is a single shot. The bug is relatively large (~ 3 cm) that's why you can get almost the whole body in focus. The blur of the background also helps to emhasize the sharpness. MCsaba

Good heavens that is crisp. And beautiful.. it looks like it's made of sugar. Never thought I'd think of a bug as "sweet" but this one is really a cute cookie.
Is it composed of one single shot or is "Helicon Focus" or similar involved? Incredible depth.
